L’arthrose est une maladie courante associée à une détérioration progressive du cartilage et à un rétrécissement de l’espace articulaire.

Les injections intraarticulaires de PRP dans la hanche ont démontré une amélioration de la fonction articulaire et ont retardé la nécessité d’une intervention chirurgicale plus lourde (du type prothèse de hanche).1

La tendinopathie du moyen fessier est une cause fréquente de douleur de la hanche ou de syndrome douloureux du grand trochanter.

Les patients traités par injections de PRP ont présenté une amélioration clinique (diminution de la douleur et amélioration de la fonction articulaire) et radiologique (sur imagerie) au bout de 12 semaines de traitement.2
